Detailed Off-Air Report From Last Night's Raw/Superstars Taping

After the cut to the "arena live" (before the show goes on around 8:52), Lillian was about to sing the National Anthem, but was cut off by someone. They ended up shooting T-Shirts in to the crowd. There was no National Anthem at this WWE Event.

*During one commercial break, WWE played a salute to the troop’s video, where they had Bush giving his message commending the WWE on their efforts. The whole time Bush was on the Titantron, the whole arena was drowned in Boos.

*Jeff Hardy had at least two video packages shown during commercial breaks (more than any other star). [url=http://ads.clicksor.com/search.php?q=triple h]Triple H[/url] had a video package, as well.

*The Bella Twins hosted a “kiss cam.” At least 2 different couples featured were complete strangers. One of the Bella twins tried to get one of the strangers to kiss.

*Josh Matthews came out and held “[url=http://ads.clicksor.com/search.php?q=signs of]Signs of[/url] the night.” One of the signs that got the most reaction was “My dad thinks Vickie is Hot!!!”

*As reported earlier, James Laurinaitis was at the show. After raw went off air, Laurinaitis was escorted back stage by security.

*The Dark Main event was Big Show & Orton vs. John Cena & Batista. Big Show came down to the ring and picked up Orton, who was still lying on the ramp. Orton worked his ankle injury for the first half of the match. Before the match began, Orton rested his leg on the announce table and a Cameraman got a close up of his ankle (it wasn’t shown on the Titantron, though).

Cena and Orton started, but Cena tagged in Batista and Orton tagged in Big Show before any action happened. Batista was worked over for quite a while, before being able to make a Hot Tag to Cena. Cena looked in great shape and there was a lot of back and forth action for the rest of the match.

3/4ths of the way into the match, Batista was busted open by his left eyebrow. It appeared the Ref checked him out, while he was in a submission lock, to make sure it wasn’t too severe. They continued the match. Orton and Big show continued to double team on him even after he was cut. The Animal was able to get a hot tag in to Cena and then he knocked Orton out of the ring. John Cena then hit the Attitude Adjustment on Big Show. Cena must have held the Big Show on his shoulders for at least 5 seconds.

After the match, WWE staff quickly ran down to the ring and gave Batista a towels to clean up, what was now, his completely blood soaked face. John Cena and Batista knocked knuckles after the match was over. Cena asked Batista if he was Okay. Dave Batista shook his head, yes. John Cena and Batista celebrated in the ring for a bit. Batista left the ring first, where a medical staffer tried to clean up his cut. Batista didn’t care and the staffer had to move with Batista to try and clean it up. John Cena stayed in the ring a bit longer, before leaving.

The Dark Match was definitely the best match of the night, and received the biggest pop from the crowd.
